With the increasing number of connected devices, the need to make more informed compute workload scheduling and orchestration decisions is critical. It is strategically important that telemetry data be exposed with reduced friction to the existing and emerging cloud and data center decision systems (e.g. schedulers) so that they can make the most informed decisions possible. The work demonstrated in this session introduces snap a modern framework for collecting, processing and publishing telemetry data. The solution is meant to have a wide audience, appealing to anyone interested in consuming, producing or processing metric and telemetry data.

Ceph is an open source distributed object store, network block device, and file system designed for reliability, performance, and scalability. It runs on commodity hardware, has no single point of failure, and is supported in the Linux kernel.

Federico Lucifredi is the Ceph Product Management Director at Red Hat, and was previously the Ubuntu Server PM at Canonical, and the Linux "Systems Management Czar" at SUSE.

Creación de plugins para Tempest

Gracias a un nuevo feature propuesto en la comunidad, podemos crear plugins independientes del código de Tempest para correr test cases personalizados. En esta plática se presentará la estructura básica de un plugin, su instalación y como ejecutarlo para correr nuestras pruebas.
