SPAM

My evo crashed once more time today reading my personal mail account, and I wasn't able to check my email account with it because of an #$#$#&$*%$@ malformed email.

So I decided to delete the 2$#@#$ mail via webmail....

And I notice that the webmail was taking too much time to get in, after I finally get in OMG 4693 stored mails, most of them were SPAM :-( and that piss me off.

Why am I storing fucking spam in my inbox ? I figured out later :(

Well, a year ago I switched from thunderbird to evo, and I did not activate the option to clean the inbox after an email was marked as deleted, so that mail only changes to my local trash and I wont see that mail again in my desktop account, the mail were stored though :-(.

So today I spend lot of my time deleting SPAM and trying not to delete any good e-mail :-(

At the end my inbox only have 614 e-mails :-), 85% of the e-mails were @#$@#$ SPAM. I hate those guys, and I hate myself for being such a dumb.

Bastards!

Google Earth and WikiMapia

Yesterday a friend told me about Google Earth for linux.

When google earth for linux came out I thougth it was a hack for wine, but I was wrong.

So I have installed google earth and join to all the people who enjoy looking for common places or places that I have been, or places that I know, or places that would like to go.

At the same time I found a wonderful project to colaborate, from the wikipedia people :) Wikimapia, and quickly I start to add places from my birthplace Guadalajara.

I took some beatufiul screenshots of some places with google earth :-).

El Angel de la Independencia (19°25'37.24"N, 99°10'3.49"W)

El Estadio Azteca (19°18'10.76"N, 99° 9'0.96"W)

La Minerva (20°40'27.98"N, 103°23'14.55"W)

La Torre Eiffel (48°51'29.54"N, 2°17'39.69"E)

These are really good, fun, awesome, interesting projects
