Last weekend I went to Guadalajara to visit family and friends where I met my new niece who is only 3 weeks old. I spent a great time with them, also i went to pick up my new laptop, which is where I am writing this post :). I have installed ubuntu and runs great :).

Also we went to eat "tortas ahogadas" which is a typical dish from guadalajara, jalisco made with bread, meat, tomato sauce and lot of chili sauce. Back to mexico city I brought some tortas for the ximian folks :) his faces got red because the chili.

In the past few months I have been very interesting on a relative new development technique for creating interactive web application called AJAX, but I didn't have time to learn it.

NO MORE EXCUSES!!

Planet N

Last friday Jason Feilbach added my rss feed to Planet N, a planet site for all the Novell employees. I spent a couple hours last sunday making a nice promotional button on Gimp to show on my blog site about planet N.



System Administrator Appreciation Day!

The Sysadmin day is comming, this will be this next Friday, July 29th, 2005, this day is celebrated annually on last Friday of July, and this will be the 6th, I used to be Sysadmin, so if you want to give me a gift there is a nice list on thinkgeek.
